You are invited to attend a reception in the South Cloisters to celebrate the opening of the UCL Grand Challenges Small Grants Showcase. The reception will begin at 6.00pm.

Enjoy refreshments as you discover the range of cross-disciplinary work that has been funded under the Grand Challenges Small Grants programme. All of the previous recipients of small grants funding have prepared posters covering their cross disciplinary work.
The small grants programme began with the first grand challenge, Global Health, and is now offered by all four Grand Challenges. The UCL Grand Challenges Small Grants Poster Showcase brings together work that has been funded by all four Grand Challenges at UCL. You will see work from:

The reception is free, but please register as it helps us decide how much food and drink to order.
Apply for a Small Grant from the UCL Grand Challenges
The Small Grants Showcase exists to promote the Small Grants scheme. If you are a member of staff at UCL you are encouraged to consider applying for one of these grants.
The grants award up £5,000 for cross-disciplinary activity under any one of the Grand Challenges.
All Small Grants applications must be submitted using the online form at
